Information this website collects
The student application asks for a student's name, email address, phone number, school, graduation year, application type, current involvement, how they heard about SSBTR, activities, proposed changes, personal goals, and an optional additional response. Authorized editors may also add an application status, review notes, and a review timestamp.
The website and its hosting providers may process limited technical request information, such as an IP address and browser details, for delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.
How the information is used
Application information is used to review and respond to prospective student leaders, coordinate SSBTR participation, maintain application records, and protect the application process. This website has no feature for selling student application information.
Access and service providers
Application records are intended to be available only to authorized SSBTR reviewers/owners and the hosting or storage providers needed to run the website. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect safety, or defend the website and organization.
Storage, security, and retention
In a properly configured production deployment, application records are stored in private server-side data storage and are not published on the public website. SSBTR uses administrative access controls and other safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
SSBTR has not established a fixed time-based retention schedule in this website's configuration. Records may remain until an authorized owner deletes them, subject to applicable legal/operational requirements. SSBTR should adopt and document a formal retention schedule appropriate for student application data.
Donations and third-party services
Donation buttons or forms may open or embed a third-party donation provider. SSBTR's website does not collect or store payment card or bank account credentials. The selected provider's privacy notice and terms govern the information entered into its checkout.
Cookies
The administrative area uses a security cookie to keep authorized editors signed in. A donation provider or other embedded third-party service may use its own cookies under its privacy notice.
Questions, corrections, or deletion requests
Applicants, parents, or guardians may ask about an application record, or request a correction or deletion, by emailing admin@ssbtr.org. SSBTR may need to verify the requester's identity and review legal or operational requirements before acting on a request.
Changes to this notice
This notice may change as the website, providers, or SSBTR's practices change. The date above will be updated when the notice is revised.
